Halcyon wanted their second album to feel like the last warm evening of summer. The budget covered one shoot day, so the artwork and the video had to come from the same place.
One shoot, two outcomes
I art directed a single rooftop shoot with a deliberately simple palette: sky blue, peach and one loud pink guitar. The stills became the sleeve and singles artwork, and the footage became the video for the lead single, cut on the beat and graded warm.
- 01
Album and singles artwork
A sleeve, three singles covers and a set of animated covers for streaming.
- 02
Music video
A four minute edit built around one continuous rooftop performance.
- 03
Social cutdowns
Twelve vertical clips for the release campaign.
Blue Hour became the band's most streamed track, and the vinyl pressing sold out before the release date.
